Privacy Policy

RouteRefund collects only the account and trip information needed to monitor eligible savings, review opportunities, and support customers.

Information we collect

Account details, customer acknowledgements, passenger names, date of birth when needed for trip lookup, airline, record locator, route/date, amount paid, forwarded confirmation email content, support messages, and private partner operations notes.

Information we do not request

Do not send airline passwords, email inbox access, one-time verification codes, payment card numbers, government ID images, or anything that would let RouteRefund take over an airline account. If a trip cannot be reviewed safely without that information, RouteRefund may pause or decline monitoring.

How we use information

To create accounts, verify bookings, parse forwarded confirmations, monitor fare changes, contact customers about reviewed savings options, maintain internal review records, and protect RouteRefund from misuse.

Access controls

Customer trip records are protected by account login and database row-level security. Partner-only notes, monitoring checks, and forwarded confirmation review data are restricted to approved RouteRefund partner accounts with separate access controls.

Payment information

RouteRefund trip forms do not ask for raw card numbers. Any customer billing should be handled through secure hosted payment links rather than card details entered into trip notes or support messages.

Contact

Questions can be sent to support@routerefund.com.
